The Humane Society of Culpeper has several programs available to local residents.
Our Affordable Spay and Neuter Program is a partnership with St. Seton’s Orphaned Animals and Loving Touch Animal Hospital. In addition to providing low cost alterations, they also provide many health and dental services to residents of Virginia.
Once a year, we partner with Blue Ridge Animal Hospital to provide a drive through Rabies Vaccine Clinic. Details for this program are usually available in late winter.
Three days a week, Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday from 10am-1pm, our office is open to provide families in need with a Pet Food Pantry. We provide food assistance for animals in need as long as they have been spayed or neutered. (We request that all pets in the house be altered in order to receive food from our pantry.)
Occasionally, we have animals available for adoption. These pets are fostered in loving homes and we strive to place them in a furever home that is the best match for both the pet and the humans. We are currently accepting applications for becoming a Foster parent.
