Meet Tony. Tony is Lab Lab / Border Collie mix, approximately 18 months old. He is ready to go – playful and full of fun. He is housebroken, micro-chipped, neutered, up on all shots, walks well on a leash and doesn’t mind having his teeth brushed. He has graduated from his beginning level obedience training and is very well behaved. Ideally Tony would like to have a yard to play in. He will need exercise, either playing with children or going on long walks or runs. Tony would love to be your new best friend! To meet Tony call 540-727-7554 to set up a meet n’ greet or drop by PetSmart on Saturdays from 10 – 1 (possibly later).
Our next Transport is scheduled for November 9, 2016! If you would like to have your dog or cat on the transport to Loving Touch Animal Hospital, please call 540-371-7729 to register and get more information!
We are having our first ever event at our new building! Come visit our yard sale on Saturday, October 17, 2016 at 315 S. West Street in the Town of Culpeper!
This Saturday, (September 17, 2016) we will be closed for our big move! We are moving just a block away to 315 S West Street. This is the little yellow building across the street from Culpeper Baptist Church. This new location will allow us to help more of our community and make it much easier for people trying to visit our office. Our phone number will remain the same.
We have several dates scheduled for September! The first transport will be September 7th, second is September 15th, third is September 23rd, and the last one is September 30th.
There is a slight change from the past for these transports, pick up and drop off will be at the Culpeper County Shelter and not at our office on Main Street. If you are interested in signing up for any of these transports, please contact Loving Touch Animal Hospital, 540-371-7729.
We would like to thank everyone that came to see us on Saturday at Walmart. We stuffed a shopping cart with items for the Pet Food Pantry thanks to generous donations from our community! Cletus got plenty of attention and was definitely the rock star of our show! He was such a good dog, and seemed to really love the kids giving him attention. If you fell in love with Cletus this weekend and would like to put in an application for him, or if you missed out on meeting him and would like to, please contact us.
- We have a new dog for adoption, Cletus.
Cletus is a 2 year old, 25 lb. Beagle perhaps with some terrier mixed in. He is good with children and dogs but unknown if he likes cats. He was found as a stray and has only been fostered a few days but already I can see his intelligence and he is learning his boundaries. House-breaking is going very well. He is very sweet-natured, still a bit shy but loves to cuddle and get all the attention you want to give him. He is still coming out of his shell – more to update later. Please note he cannot go home with anyone until after his is neutered on July 29th.
- Adoption Event and Food Drive
This Saturday, July 23, we have an adoption event and food drive at Walmart in Culpeper from 10am – 2pm. Come out and meet adorable Cletus!
- Our July 29 Spay and Neuter Transport is full. We are taking appointments for the August 19th Transport. Contact Loving Touch Animal Hospital (540-371-7729) if you are interested in participating in this lower cost Spay and Neuter opportunity.
