TEMPORARY FOSTER HOMES ARE NEEDED IMMEDIATELY
The Humane Society of Culpeper’s FOSTER PET PROGRAM provides temporary care for adoptable animals, as a means of rescue for those that are homeless, stray, surrendered or otherwise endangered. The goal of the FOSTER PET PROGRAM is to ultimately find a permanent home for the animal, with your love and care.
We cannot rescue animals at this time until we have responsible volunteers come forward and register with our program. Please open and review our foster policy and application. Appointments are necessary to register.
We may have immediate openings, while some will be on hold until late summer. We desire placing young kittens, puppies, nursing moms, healthy adults, senior or geriatric animals, sick animals and paired animals into homes that will house and care for them temporarily.
FOOD, VET CARE AND SUPPLIES are provided where/when necessary. Foster periods range from one month to one year.
